and of course intrigue all fabricated the family saga "Ti Amo (Battalgia Mafia #ii)" by Sienna Mynx a thrilling and enjoyable read!
It'southward 1991 -- two years later and Don Giovanni's war confronting the Calderones has fabricated him into a bloodthirsty monster directly subsequently his BellaMira's death. Lorenzo, Gio's cousin had been task to impale the last of the Calderone, Angelo and as well Fish, the man who planted the flop that supposedly killed Mira. Showtime, Lorenzo finds Fish in a seedy strip articulation and discovered that Mira was non killed in her apartment two years earlier but information technology was her assistant, Angelique who favored her and she is alive and well with her cute baby--- Giovanni'south babe and oh yell, Kei her ex.
Gio and Mira'due south reunion was not the best of reunions. There was tension merely noticeably so they had feelings for i another -- still. Sienna Mynx weaves this story and so cleverly with Eve Fabiana Battaligia, Gio'southward daughter instantly having her Papa wrapped effectually her chumby fingers. And that pacifier aka plug was then relatable to how babies are attached to it similar a milk canteen.
Now Mira is still the same independent good girl but after losing Fabiana and others she is very loyal to Kei for helping her escape her past subsequently Gio'south advisor, Flavio lied about Gio and told her to go out his country. Regardless the story leads united states to Mira withal being Gio'south calorie-free in his darkness and all the character knew of Mira'south love and power over Gio as the only thing that could bring sanity back to the true legacy of the Battaglia family. Lorenzo, Dom, Carlo, Nico and even his sister Catalina were missing the man Gio had been but knew Mira was his cure along with his - bambina, Eve.
These secondary characters in "Ti Amo' were more than so even memorable in this story than book 1. We get to encounter how Catalina's head ticks when it came to Domi and how her husband, Franco discovered her sin and use it confronting her. No, Catalina's relationship with Gio's counselor, Dom was never over with even subsequently she married Franco-- the beloved merely grew stronger.
Okay now, no more SPOILERS! And then merely know this story was an epic rollercoaster ride --twisting and turner till upwardly very terminal page.
Recommended and approved every bit another Sienna Mynx, 5++ stars *****

Ti Amo is the the 2d book in the Battaglia Mafia series. Don Giovanni Battaglia has taken the "decease" of Mira Ellison, the dear of his life, really hard. He has declared war everyone he considers responsible and fifty-fifty his family unit is not immune from the ruthlessness forged in his grief. The fireworks actually explode in one case he discovers the truth of her actual fate.

Ti Amo is the the second volume in the Battaglia Mafia series. Don Giovanni Battaglia has taken the "expiry" of Mira Ellison, the love of his life, really hard. He has declared war everyone he considers responsible and fifty-fifty his family unit is not immune from the ruthlessness forged in his grief. The fireworks really explode one time he discovers the truth of her actual fate.
I only accept 1 minor complaint about this series so far. This story is set in the eighty'south but it never references any of the fun facts or fashions of the period. Considering that Mira is a fashion designer that doesn't make sense.
I tin not look for the final volume La Famiglia.
Reread 01/12/xix:
I had to amend my previous comment about 80's fashion not be well represented. The story begins in the tardily fourscore's, into the early 90's. The mode described matches that aesthetic very well. This is when the series started to reveal itself as something special. I too added another star.
The way that Sienna describes his dark wavy hair, broad shoulders, wide breast but makes me melt.
I was elated to see the return of the real Gio with the assist of Mira! I'm glad to see how Mira handles her role as the new Donna!
I want an HEA for Catalina and Domi; Domi deserves it more so than Catalina - LOL!
And... dear firefly Eve is such a cutie; she has Gio wrapped around her pinkie;-)
And what will happen with this love sick fool manipul OMG!! Book 2 to the Battaglia Serial was awesome!
The style that Sienna describes his dark wavy pilus, wide shoulders, broad chest merely makes me cook.
I was elated to run across the render of the real Gio with the help of Mira! I'm glad to see how Mira handles her role equally the new Donna!
I want an HEA for Catalina and Domi; Domi deserves it more so than Catalina - LOL!
And... dear firefly Eve is such a cutie; she has Gio wrapped around her little finger;-)
And what will happen with this beloved sick fool manipulator, Kei?
I can't expect for Book three - come on February. That seems and so far abroad! ...more
I call up she did Kei really dirty, she knew what the deal was with Giovanni from the offset and so pretending that she was scared of anyone was lame. When she commencement found out she should've sent some type of word to Giovanni regardless of the war going on. Kei did what he had to do to keep them prophylactic even with her not feeling him he still went manner beyond what he had to to protect them. Still not sure what Lorenzo has upward his sleeve but I'm sure it will all come out soon and when it does it's going to be great. The adjacent one has to be good if Kei tin can become his stuff together.
...moreWell worth the coin and fourth dimension. Highly recommend the series.
Thoroughly enjoyed this volume. Sienna Mynx is a first class writer who has raised the bar for IRR writers..
Ti Amo is a continuation of Destino and it starts up about two years later the end of Destino. As everyone knows by at present Don Giovanni Battaglia and Mira Ellison were in a human relationship that suffered a serious strain after a tragedy struck their lives. Mira was whisked away to New York nether false pretenses by Flavio, Giovanni'due south Consigliere, as he was non a fan of Mira'south and the hold she seemed to have on Giovanni's heart and mind. Once back in New York, Mira goes back to her ex, sneaky, mysterious Kei who gets her out of boondocks to Switzerland, as a way to keep her safety from the mafia; that is looking to put a hitting on her, as a mode to get at Giovanni. This is when things really brainstorm to boot off and the story gets going.
At present, Giovanni is my dude in this series all the way around, even when he is on his alpha male BS, I am hither for Giovanni. I felt the worst for him though reading this book; because Mira was actually trying to play him and I DID NOT capeesh it i scrap. For about two years Giovanni and Mira were separated for certain reasons (view spoiler)[ she faked her decease and was pregnant and he didn't know nigh it and had to detect her after some info near her was brought to his attending, but he didn't know about infant Eve either. (hibernate spoiler)] and Giovanni thought he would not see Mira once more. All the same, Giovanni gets some data regarding Mira from his cousin, sheisty, Lying Lorenzo and he sets out to become Mira from Switzerland, where she has been staying. When Giovanni and his crew arrive in Switzerland they come across that Mira has been staying with her ex Chinese lover, Kei and that there is some other surprise. Mira is so sickening here because she was clearly in the wrong for a lot of what has happened in the last two years, but in true Mira manner, she stays trying to blame Giovanni and his lifestyle for her predicament. Uh, no boo boo. She needs to blame herself for being willfully ignorant and naïve and just wanting to run across the fairytale of love and Giovanni'due south lifestyle. She totally robbed Giovanni of and so many happy experiences in the two years they were autonomously and that was SELFISH and non her telephone call to make alone in my opinion. I am with Giovanni 100% for taking her back to Italy and sorting out their affairs because her deportment hurt a lot of people besides him and she was totally wrong for doing what she did.
Mira, Mira, Mira! I have and so much disdain for this character that I could write a serial of books on how much I do not care for her and why. Explicate to me how Mira wants and expects forgiveness from Giovanni for her awful, selfish and homemade choices, but she is and then quick to bespeak the finger at him and not readily forgive him for deportment that occurred in their by. Also, the things Giovanni dealt with were bug that were part of his lifestyle and Mira knew that. She won't forgive him for an action that happened and it WAS NOT his fault, but to keep the peace and because he loves Mira he is willing to take the blame and endeavour to movement on. Um, no Giovanni, y'all don't owe Mira an apology for annihilation. Mira chose to be with Giovanni and his family, and then if you are choosing that life you have to deal with what comes forth with information technology, not only the good parts that suit your tastes. Plus, she needed to be angry with Lorenzo because it was his sneaky, duplicitous actions that led to tragedy in Giovanni and Mira's life.
As well, what Mira took from Giovanni in the 2 years she was away from him, he could never ever get back or re-live, and so she owes him big. ANNND, how is Giovanni going to come and get you and yous are living with your ex lover, (view spoiler)[ knowing he thought you were dead this whole time then he finds you lot have HIS Baby calling this other guy daddy?! Nah, girl you were on crevice and and so yous tell Giovanni peradventure they could get along. Are you serious?! What dude who truly loves you lot is going to try and go along with your trifling ex and YOU, when Yous shouldn't have been with him in the outset place and he was happy to have and continue y'all away with your Human"S CHILD and act like he is the dad and y'all are his adult female again? Girl bye, I cannot with Mira'south selfishness and stupidity!!! (hide spoiler)] that is trying to be your lover once more and you are entertaining the idea of information technology and that is how Giovanni finds you lot, afterwards he was heartbroken over y'all and going crazy from not having you around?! Ugh, she is such a trifling mess, I can't even deal.
Catalina is still Catty and annoying in this story as well, just she was doing the ultimate schemy, manipulative nonsense, when it came to her and her married man Franco. She is only horrible and I know her antics volition continue and add drama to this story. I love Domi and I know he loves Catalina and she loves him, but uh uh, he needs a nice girl who isn't a manipulative, snake in the grass like Catalina. She irks my life and stays getting poor Domi in trouble with Giovanni; who is already angry with Domi over Catalina. Too, Catalina talks too much and always kind of gives away information that is supposed to be a hole-and-corner, it'south like girl Shut Upwardly!
Lying Lorenzo is upwardly to his usual antics of foolishness and trying to clean up some mess he created from plotting and planning and non thinking things through all of the manner. Of course other people are starting to be fatigued into his devious plots and nosotros will have to see how they fare because I keep saying it, Lorenzo is about Lorenzo, the cease.
Overall, I loved this story every bit well and I feel like the plot just keeps getting better and amend. I am looking frontwards to reading many more installments in the series, so keep 'em coming Sienna!
...moreI wished that Giovanni would accept killed Kei when he had the chance. I don't like him in the story. He needs to become abroad. I'm not looking forward to reading nearly him in the next book.

I liked Ti Amo better than I liked the first book. I even warmed upwards to Mira in this one. Of course, I loved Giovanni just as before. He is all man and I honey that. I couldn't help simply wonder what fabricated Giovanni and Kei so attracted to Mira. I just didn't come across the qualities that they did, but then over again, I'm a adult female.I wished that Giovanni would have killed Kei when he had the risk. I don't like him in the story. He needs to go abroad. I'm not looking forward to reading about him in the next book.
Eve was my absolute favorite person of all time in this story. She was sweet and I imagined her to be then beautiful. I loved the way she loved her daddy. Giovanni turned out to be such a wonderful dad. Giovanni and Eve stole my heart.
The dorsum stories were likewise very interesting. I was rooting for Catalina and Domi. And I actually hope that Lorenzo tin detect the love of his life. I like Lorenzo and I am glad that he was able to become back into Giovanni's good graces in that location at the terminate.
I am so impress with the noesis that Sienna Mynx has of the Mafia and their actions. Can't wait for the next book.

A continuation into the Battaglia Mafia series. Gio & Mira are the front and center story equally they battle over their past, present, and hopefully future. Mira comes across more mature, as (due to Eve) she has been resigned in her determination of what she would practice...if Gio always found out.Which of class he does...and OMG! Here I was all excited...waiting for the scene annnndddd
After the re-uniting scene, I felt sort of let downwards. Argggh, I wanted a bit more than fireworks. I retrieve I wanted Kei to put upward a fight, and than information technology take longer for Mira & Gio to work it out. Don't get me wrong, the pace was fine, merely I feel similar things piece of work out a lilllltttleee too neatly for Gio. I haven't seen him really sweat. I know he blamed himself for what he thought happened to Mira, but I he didn't requite me annihilation I haven't seen in the starting time book: lonely, common cold, lamentable, Gio. Well, he did cease shaving, lol! Anyway, I really liked possessive dad Gio ameliorate in this book. Kei was a dandy side character, and the series progression is coming along nicely.
The steam is even so there, and information technology was a fun light-hearted read. The ties have still non concluded as in that location are some characters who will be dorsum...

Ti Amo picks up where Destino left off with Bella fleeing the Usa afterwards a 2nd endeavor on her life by the enemies of her most recent ex-lover, Giovanni. She is in hiding for a couple of years with a surprise packet when Gio learns that she still lives. Bella'southward start ex, Kei kept her safe and in hiding, but he carried secrets of his ain. Once Giovanni realizes that Bella still lives, he intends to bring her back to Italy and doesn't give her a pick regardless if she wanted to or not.The story was a proficient story fifty-fifty though at that place were some people, (ie-Gio'south sis) Catalina frayed my nerves a bit with her selfishness, but she was too very loving to those she considered family and Lorenzo (Gio's cousin), who all the same have ulterior motives but I'm nonetheless interested in his wounded soul. The story line was intriguing as it unfolded the true nature of Kei and his intentions for Bella and Gio'south descent into devastation and how Bella had to help him unpack all of the vengeance that he had in his heart when he thought his enemies killed her. The story ends on a somewhat happy note as Bella finally accepts a date for a wedding from Gio, merely Bella's ex, Kei has a new marry and this person has ready their eyes on Bella once more then the drama continues.

So Ms. Mynx did information technology again with the 2d installment of the Battaglia Mafia Series. We've been waiting on pins and needles for the reunion of Giovanni and the love of his life, his Bella and it was so totally worth the look!I just love reading most everyone in this book. Anybody we met in book 1 was in some way in volume 2 setting the scene for what I know is going to exist a spectacular book three. I dont desire to give anything away so I will end my review with this. Giovanni is so wonderfully crawly, Mira still has some naivete but I think that she showed some maturity by the finish of this volume.
I CANNOT WAIT to meet what is in store for this family unit. This is a must own, must read, must re-read.

This volume was non bad, and I would love to read more like it. Information technology was and then dissimilar from a lot of the pop romances nowadays, and I felt it was well idea out. In that location'due south violence, lots of violence, and sex, lots of that besides; and information technology concluded with a huuuuuge cliff hange
Goodness gracious...I accept no idea where to begin with this story. The story was well written, the plot had the right amount of drama and intrigue to make me devour this book, yada yada. So why the one star rating? We'll get to that. This book was not bad, and I would love to read more like it. It was so different from a lot of the pop romances nowadays, and I felt it was well idea out. There'southward violence, lots of violence, and sex, lots of that too; and it concluded with a huuuuuge cliff hanger.
*SPOILER ALERT*
So at present for my problems:
1) what kind of friend lets her best friend go out with fifty-fifty a suspected MAFIA BOSS? If my friend let me become into what Fabiana allow Mira get into, words (and peradventure a few punches) would definitely be exchanged.
2) I detest how Mira loses her resolve as the volume goes on; she started off so stiff (which, over again, is not establish in many popular books now) and past the cease of the volume she's as spineless and weak as they come. That was the second hardest thing to breadbasket: how by the end of the novel she basically merely rolls over and lets Giovanni walk all over her.
3) I hated the fight scene between Mira and Fabiana. I detest how guilty Mira started to feel afterwards she and Fabiana argued; Mira had every correct to be aroused that Fabiana knew what Giovanni and his family were upward to but didn't tell her, and instead pushed her to be with Giovanni. Again, words would've been exchanged.
At present, I could overlook all the picayune transgressions I simply mentioned, but the reason I HATED this book was the k bounder himself, Giovanni Battaglia.
4) Giovanni is a no-adept, selfish, fell SOB and he deserves to be confined to a hole to rot for all of eternity. There are so many reasons I hate Giovanni (he lied to Mira about, well, everything; he closed downward her store that she worked hard for because of his illegal activities--then lied about it, then threw it in her face; and his overall selfishness).
Goodness, by the terminate I couldn't wait to end the story, and for a couple weeks I struggled with whether or not to suffer through more of Giovanni's sh*t and lies, or try and rectify my love for reading with another book. I chose the latter, and every bit a friend of mine finished the series and told me what happened, I'm glad I didn't keep.
If you lot similar weak "heroines" and douchey, lying Mafia men, this book is right downwardly your alley.

Family Sins and Consequences! This is the 2nd book in the Battaglia Mafia serial. You acquire more than of the characters that you met in Destiny. Sins and consequences, poor decisions, lies, betrayals, evil deportment.... all because of honey. None of the characters come up out looking proficient.
Gio is caput of his family and his word is law or is information technology? Mira is brought dorsum habitation with a little dark-brown skinned, bluish eyed daughter, Eve. Catalina'southward and Dominic'south secret sin is revealed. Franco, Catalina's husband, has a secret sin of his own. Lorenzo'southward betrayal is punished but is there a worse, undiscovered betrayal? He'due south punished and restored to his position in the family.
The sins of the family are revealed but what about the consequences? Is Gio the master puppeteer or does Mira pulls his strings? Kei is blamed for everything that happened to Mira. Will Mira, the unequalled Donna, proceed to escape the responsibility for her ain actions or will Gio go on protecting her as Kei did? She is not without sin. Why is Dominic held to a higher standard than is Catalina? Catalina is the most cocky-serving, manipulative, evil, person of all. Why are others ever excusing her? Will Lorenzo'southward sin come to light or will others continue existence adversely affected because of information technology? Does anyone pay for the consequences of their sins?
The book starts off so positive but ends on a negative note. No one comes off very well in this volume. Poor misunderstood Gio is the about likable. At that place'due south and so much you still want to know, so on to book 3 in the series. Yes, I loved the book even while hating the people.
...more thanAfter two years in hiding because everything thinks she is expressionless, Mira has a two-year old daughter and the gang finds her out of nowhere. Giovanni, as oblivious as he is, is surprised that he has a kid and is aroused that he missed out on her life. He accepts the kid anyway because that is what mafia men do. And then there is Kei another complication to their wild dear story. Giovanni
Ah, nosotros are back again aren't we? And uh-oh she had his baby ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Lets keep this review short, shall we?Afterwards 2 years in hiding because everything thinks she is expressionless, Mira has a ii-yr old girl and the gang finds her out of nowhere. Giovanni, as oblivious every bit he is, is surprised that he has a child and is angry that he missed out on her life. He accepts the kid anyway considering that is what mafia men practise. And then in that location is Kei another complication to their wild love story. Giovanni is pissed at Mira for hiding, and Mira is sad that he changed even though he is the verbal same person from when she met him. Then, they have sex. And and so have more than sex. He proposes and all is well because Mira tin't decline. Just wait, at that place are more secrets. Pretty astonishing, right? If y'all read my other review, yous know that I strongly dislike this volume. The first book was bad, but this volume is horrible. The quality went down drastically because it is irksome. I don't care about these characters, but I honestly want to know how does this serial end (and, I can already tell where this is going). I'm currently halfway on the tertiary book and it gets worse trust me...

I did something I said I wouldn't do with serial and that I haven't washed in a while, that read them back to back.
